Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Principal level Water Resources Market Leader to guide our national Water Resources Practice. Based in Phoenix, Austin, Houston, Dallas, or other US offices, with occasional home-office flexibility, you will lead strategy, grow market share, and oversee complex water-resource projects from development through regulatory approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Hydrogeology, Civil, Environmental or related engineering discipline (required).
• Advanced degree in the same/similar (preferred).
• Professional registration (PE, CHG) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business planning to segment and target industrial, commercial and municipal clients.
• Engage with project and operations staff to align delivery with market demands.
• Act as Client Account Manager on critical accounts in Water Resources market.
• Participate in professional societies/conferences to raise visibility of the firm.
• Direct projects including scope, budgets, quality, and follow-on work for water resources analyses and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit, mentor and manage junior staff and engineers/scientists.
• Lead major proposals and provide senior SME in client meetings.
• Provide project delivery and PM responsibility for multiple concurrent assignments.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, and proposals.
• Travel to client or project sites as needed.
