Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team in Minnesota. You will tackle stormwater, drainage, and E&S design, guiding hydrologic analyses and contributing to project plans and cost estimates.

You’ll work closely with Land Development teams, manage tasks, and ensure schedules. PE or plan to obtain within 6 months is preferred, with 5+ years’ water resources experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools (TR-55, TR-20, PC-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS).
• Proficiency with CAD programs and AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Strong MS Office, Adobe, and Bluebeam skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic/hydraulic design tasks and analyses.
• Provide technical guidance to Land Development teams.
• Manage design tasks, reports, and studies independently.
