Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Water team, delivering civil infrastructure projects across multiple communities. You will manage design tasks and coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and internal teams on sanitary, storm, and watermain projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s in civil or environmental engineering, 5+ years of experience, and a PE license. Strong communication and project coordination skills are essential as you support multiple projects and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Five years of related work experience required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Design sanitary, storm, and watermain projects and related site plans.
• Coordinate design packages and deliverables with clients and authorities.
• Support project managers in meetings and with client communications.
• Prepare engineering documents, specs, and construction plans.
• Assist with cost estimating and contract administration tasks.
