Under supervision, you will contribute to planning discussions, develop detailed design plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role emphasizes field tasks, design documentation accuracy, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil/geotechnical/geological engineering.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Willingness to perform field tasks and oversight.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning and development.
• Develop detailed design plans and specs for civil projects.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and surveyors to ensure design coherence.
• Use AutoCAD to create detailed drawings and plans.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards in design documents.
• Perform analyses and calculations to support design.
• Develop feasibility studies, cost estimates, and procurement documents.
• Prepare technical reports, letters, and memoranda.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve design issues.
• Review construction plans to ensure design intent.
• Assist in proposals and client/regulator presentations.
• Support Project Managers by tracking budgets and communications.
• Travel to project sites and other offices, including overnight travel.
