Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to lead water resource management initiatives based in Upington. You will oversee infrastructure development, conservation programs, and sustainable water usage, coordinating teams, budgets, and timelines from conception to completion.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in environmental projects or civil engineering, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to work with engineers, government agencies, and communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on environmental projects, civil engineering, or water resource management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, execution, and completion of water resource management projects, including infrastructure development and conservation programs.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with engineers, environmental scientists, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations, water use permits, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to senior management and relevant authorities in Upington.
