Job summary

HDR invites a seasoned Water Business Group leader to guide technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice. You will align practice groups, strengthen delivery capabilities, and advance standards that improve client outcomes.

This role partners with operations, market sectors, and HDR leadership to drive innovation and regional collaboration. The position reports to the WBG President, with a focus on continuous improvement, talent development, and HDR’s employee-owned

Qualifications

15 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role.
Experience managing and developing technical teams and practices.
Active participation in AEC industry associations.
Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture and values.

Responsibilities

Lead and align technical practice groups across the matrix organization.
Drive quality, risk management, and delivery improvement initiatives.
Support recruitment, staffing, and development of key staff within the WBG.
Collaborate with operations, market sector, and leadership to advance delivery strategies.
Foster collaboration and professional communities across disciplines and regions.
