Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned Water Business Group Professional Services Director to guide technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice across our multi-disciplinary teams. You will align practice groups, strengthen delivery capabilities, and promote HDR’s standards and best practices to improve client outcomes.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will champion continuous improvement, risk management, and collaboration with operations, marketing, and technology leaders

Qualifications

• Professional engineering registration and licensure.
• Extensive leadership and management of professional services and delivery teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop diverse technical and service delivery staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for broad audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical quality and delivery excellence across the Water Business Group.
• Drive continuous improvement through QA/QC programs and best practices.
• Develop staff, recruit talent, and foster collaboration across regions and disciplines.
• Guide delivery strategies, risk management, and technology adoption for large-scale programs.
• Partner with project delivery services to ensure client outcomes and high performance.
