DeKalb County Government in Decatur, GA is seeking a Water Meter Supervisor to oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of water meters and related tasks for the County's water utility.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, develop schedules, review timesheets, provide training, and ensure meter operations meet quality standards.

State required: high school diploma or GED, 3 years of meter experience, and a valid Georgia driver's license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in installation, repair and maintenance of utility meters.
• Valid Georgia driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff; develops and oversees employee work schedules, reviews timesheets, and counsels as appropriate.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work to meet objectives; ensures resources and monitors progress.
• Responds to requests for service and complaints regarding meter operations; investigates conditions, calibrates meters, and educates customers on policies.
• Supervises installation, cleaning, maintenance and replacement of water meters; locates, marks, and repairs meters and leaks.
• Manages connection of new/re-established services and disconnection of delinquent accounts; ensures notices are left for customers.
