Job summary

Stantec seeks a Strategic Management Consultant to support local governments, water utilities, infrastructure owners, and related clients across North America. You will blend management consulting with data strategy, process optimization, governance, and technology planning to deliver measurable improvements in service delivery and adoption.

You will work with cross-functional teams to assess current-state operations, craft future-state roadmaps, and translate business needs into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, economics, public policy, finance, IT, MIS or related.
• Five+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, professional services, project delivery, infrastructure, government, or utilities.
• PMP certification is required; candidates must obtain it within a reasonable period.
• Prosci Change Practitioner credential is required; candidates must obtain it within a reasonable period.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support client relationships, project delivery, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve in an external client-facing consulting role helping utility and infrastructure clients.
• Conduct current-state assessments, map processes, and design future-state workflows.
• Plan and facilitate client meetings, interviews, workshops, and governance sessions.
• Develop roadmaps, dashboards, and practical recommendations for implementation.
• Advise on data governance, quality, and analytics enablement.
