Job summary

Stantec's Water team is seeking a Project Engineer to contribute to the design of sanitary, storm, and watermain projects across municipal infrastructure. You will manage multiple tasks, coordinate with clients and sub-consultants, and help deliver open-cut, relining, and trenchless designs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• PE license required and at least five years of related experience.
• Proficient in design software and construction documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design sanitary, storm, and watermain projects and related civil site plans.
• Coordinate design packages with clients, project managers and sub-consultants.
• Prepare construction specs, plans and schedules; review shop drawings and submittals.
• Support cost estimating and project administration tasks.
