Veolia in North America is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform field service orders, collect water samples, install, read, maintain and test customer service meters, and assist with field maintenance. The role requires flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain Class 1 or Class 2 water operator licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in the water utility field preferred.
• Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain Class 1 or Class 2 water operator license.

Responsabilités

• Perform turn on/off, read, and test residential water meters.
• Investigate billing complaints in the field by confirming readings and checking for leaks.
• Assist with tagging doors for termination of service to delinquent accounts and with service line work.
• Collect samples and assist with T&D operations and maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support field activities as needed.
• Rotate weekday and weekend on-call shifts and work overtime when required.
