Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking an entry-level O&M Tech I to support water distribution and wastewater collection services. You will perform customer service tasks, locate and repair meters and pipes, and assist with main and system repairs while responding to emergencies.

This role requires safety awareness and reliability in field work. The position involves operating varied equipment and attending training sessions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic mathematics and computer software knowledge relevant to field work.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service duties such as turn-ons and shut-offs; report water use violations and resolve issues.
• Locate, inspect, maintain, and repair meters, valves, pipes and appurtenances; flush water distribution and clean wastewater systems.
• Assist and inspect repair work on water mains and wastewater collection systems.
• Respond to complaints and emergencies; use inspection equipment to identify causes and mitigate spills and leaks.
