Job summary

Nexus Water Group is seeking a Field Tech II to read and record water meters for customer billing, identify meter equipment problems, and perform minor maintenance. The role requires frequent travel between service areas near Lake Placid, FL, and a schedule Monday through Friday with possible on-call shifts.

The position requires at least 2 years of mechanical work experience and a valid driver's license. Water meter reading experience is a plus; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Document customer interaction and field activities in CC&B.
• Act as liaison between customers and customer service for problem resolution.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding meter reading schedule, billing, and related matters.
• Provide on-site customer communication.
• Assist with maintaining mechanical, electrical and piping systems for water/wastewater facilities.
