Job summary

Veolia NA is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to perform water and sewer infrastructure tasks, including meter reading, flushing, valve work, hydrant maintenance, and pressure testing. The role requires cleaning, inspection, and repair of sewer mains, plus on-call availability for emergencies.

Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or GED and have 3–5+ years of experience in water/sewer systems, with NC certifications preferred and a Class A CDL or ability to obtain one.

• 3–5+ years of experience working in water and sewer collection systems.

Responsibilities

• Water system support: meter reading, flushing programs, valve maintenance, hydrants, and pressure tests.
• Sewer maintenance: cleaning and inspecting mains and laterals using jet/vac trucks and CCTV cameras, root removal.
• Infrastructure repairs: replacing pipes, manholes, service lines, and meters to restore service.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call rotation for incidents and spills.
