Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a physically capable Water Distribution Technician to install and repair water mains, service lines, and valves. You will perform tests, restore sites, and manage inventory daily in a demanding outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates have CDL Class A, experience with GIS/GPS tools, and strong reading of maps and plans, with a commitment to safety and record-keeping across field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid state driver's license and CDL preferred.
• Experience with water distribution systems and heavy equipment.
• Ability to read maps and construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install water mains and service lines.
• Perform flushing, leak surveys, and flow tests.
• Restock inventory and prepare job sites daily.
• Concrete work and restoration in yards, roads, and easements.
• Maintain accurate records and use digital tools.
• Work overtime and respond to emergencies when needed.
