HDR is seeking a leader for the Water Business Group (WBG) Professional Services Director role in the United States. This executive position aligns technical practice groups, strengthens delivery capabilities, and advances standards across the matrix organization to deliver high-quality project outcomes and client success.

The role partners with operations, market sectors, and technical leaders to foster technical excellence, develop future leaders, and promote HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in the industry.
• Experience leading technical teams and practices.
• Active participation in AEC industry associations.
• Commitment to HDR employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Lead evaluation and adoption of professional services technologies and delivery tools.
• Coordinate staff training on policies, processes, risk management, and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement with technical standards, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Support cross-group collaboration to advance delivery strategies and program success.
