Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director to provide executive leadership for technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice across the matrix organization.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will align technical practice, strengthen delivery capabilities, and advance standards and best practices to enhance client outcomes and project performance.

Qualifications

• Professional engineering registration and related technical expertise.
• Experience leading professional services, program management, or delivery teams.
• Strong track record in quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Coordinate adoption of technologies and digital delivery tools across the group.
• Monitor QA/QC activities and resolution of project issues to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Support recruiting, staffing, and cross-group collaboration to advance delivery strategies.
