Job summary

HDR is a leading engineering firm driving impact through water-related projects across the United States. The Water Business Group needs a Director to supervise technical quality, delivery excellence, and professional practice across the matrix organization.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will align practices, strengthen delivery capabilities, and foster collaboration to deliver high-quality outcomes for communities and infrastructure projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing technical teams and practices.
• Maintain AEC industry associations.
• Active participant of employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Coordinate QA and QC activities to ensure delivery quality and continuous improvement.
• Advance delivery strategies and technology adoption across the Water Business Group.
