Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Business Group Professional Services Director to lead technical quality, project delivery excellence, and professional practice across the matrix organization. You will align practice groups, strengthen delivery capabilities, and advance standards and processes that improve client outcomes and project performance.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with operations, market sectors, and technology leadership.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years of leadership experience in professional services delivery.
• Registered professional engineer with extensive technical expertise.
• Proven ability to mentor diverse technical and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor staff development in technical, professional, and service delivery competencies.
• Advance delivery models, digital tools, and QA/QC standards across the group.
• Coordinate training on policies, risk management, and quality systems.
• Drive continuous improvement and alignment with HDR standards and client needs.
• Collaborate across operations, market sectors, and technology leadership.
