Job summary

HDR's Water Business Group seeks a seasoned Professional Services Director to lead technical quality, project delivery, and professional practice across the matrix organization. You will align technical groups, strengthen delivery capabilities, and establish standards that improve outcomes for clients and communities.

Reporting to the WBG President, you will mentor leaders, drive continuous improvement, manage risk, and foster collaboration across disciplines and regions.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in managing and developing technical teams and practices.
• Extensive leadership of professional services, program and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of QA, QC, risk management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the development and training of staff in technical, professional, business, and service delivery competencies.
• Develop approaches to new technologies and digital delivery methods in support of initiatives.
• Oversee QA/QC program activities and monitor project delivery quality and risk.
• Coordinate staff training on company policies, processes, and risk management.
