Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an Intermediate Restoration Technician to lead a water damage team on residential and small commercial losses in the Falmouth, ME area. You will apply IICRC standard practices for water and mold remediation and use water extraction and moisture-detection equipment to assess and document moisture conditions.

This role requires prior water damage experience, ability to supervise up to 10 staff, and flexibility to travel, work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
• Hold current IICRC WRT designation
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Ability to draw sketches and moisture logs
• Experience supervising small crews (up to 10)

Responsibilities

• Direct the water damage team and oversee residential and small commercial losses
• Ensure correct PPE usage and review daily project requirements
• Document progress with field notes, photos, charts and sketches
• Inspect and maintain safety of vehicles and equipment
• Provide accurate moisture measurements and drying goals
• Travel as needed and work nights/weekends when required
