Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration in Fort Myers, Florida, seeks an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses, applying IICRC S500/S520 standards.

You will supervise crews, document moisture distribution, create moisture maps, and ensure safety with proper PPE, equipment, and field logs. Occasional travel, night shifts and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard and S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Current IICRC WRT designation.
• Experience supervising small crews (up to 10).
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book and field data collection tools.
• Ability to read floor plans, draw sketches and determine drying goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in PPE usage and safety protocols.
• Review project requirements daily and communicate progress to management.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Travel nights and weekends as required.
• Attend BELFOR operations and necessary training courses.
