Job summary

BELFOR is hiring an intermediate Water Damage Specialist in Portland, OR. You will head the water damage team, applying IICRC S500/S520 standards and managing moisture assessment, equipment, and documentation for residential and small commercial losses.

The role requires supervising crews, ensuring safety, and coordinating field operations, with periodic travel and night/weekend work as needed. Compensation includes benefits and a pay range of $24–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Must have IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard knowledge.
• Possess IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Ability to read floor plans and create moisture maps.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams and apply PPE correctly.
• Document progress with fields, photos, charts and sketches.
• Inspect and maintain safety and equipment.
• Lead field operations and coordinate with supervisors.
• Travel at times and work nights/weekends.
