Job summary

Intelliforce-IT Solutions Group in Texas is seeking a Watch Desk Systems Analyst to monitor and support mission-critical environments. You will track system health, data flows, and incident response for complex production ecosystems, coordinating with Tier 2 and 3 teams.

The role rewards calm decision-making and strong communication in a high-stakes setting. You will help develop SOPs, incident reporting, and shift handoffs, ensuring operational continuity and clear stakeholder updates in a 24x7

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph; must be current.
• U.S. Citizenship required; no visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; 20 years Systems Engineering experience may substitute for degree.
• Security+ certification or willingness to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating systems, applications, services, and production environments for availability, health, and performance.
• Identify abnormal behavior via dashboards, logs, alerts, and metrics; coordinate actions.
• Troubleshoot Linux OS, applications, data flows, and basic network issues.
• Monitor data ingestion pipelines; investigate interruptions or performance problems.
• Execute authorized restart/recovery procedures per SOPs.
• Create/update/maintain incident tickets; document actions and timelines.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2/3, management, or other teams.
• Support incident response and system restoration activities.
• Prioritize incidents by severity and mission impact.
