Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Virginia is seeking an experienced IT operations professional to support 24x7 watchfloor systems, incident management, and DevSecOps practices.

You will act as the SPOC between service providers and users, perform initial diagnostics, escalate issues, and maintain knowledge bases while contributing to national security missions and a culture of integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Two years of experience with deployments, Linux, containers, cloud, and DevSecOps.
• Four years of experience in lieu of a degree; MS in Engineering or CS can substitute.
• Current US Security Clearance with Polygraph within 7 years.
• Security CWIP / DoD8570 (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24×7×365 environment.
• Serve as SPOC between service provider and operational users, logging and prioritizing incidents.
• Perform initial diagnosis using knowledge bases and incident models; aim for first-contact resolution.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II; communicate status to users throughout resolution.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolution actions for knowledge base updates.
• Maintain 24/7/365 coverage via rotating 12‑hour shifts (0500 and 1700) on a 2‑week cycle.
