Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate and maintain wastewater treatment, processing, disposal and testing equipment to meet permit requirements. The role covers primary and secondary treatment, sludge handling, and related equipment.

Rotating 24-hour on-call may be required. Responsibilities include reading meters, records, minor repairs, preparing logs, and supporting the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English for instructions, logs and reports.
• Experience with water/wastewater facilities and basic process control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains wastewater treatment processes and related equipment.
• Performs routine maintenance, reads meters, records data and writes work orders.
• Writes and updates shift logs and assists in field testing and sampling.
• May require 24-hour on-call rotation and outdoor work.
