The role emphasizes teamwork, learning to operate pumps, engines, valves, and process control systems, with potential outdoor work, on-call rotations, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Some experience in a related position and work environment is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities.
• Independently operate assigned machines and equipment meeting processing, quality, and safety requirements.
• Operate equipment such as pumps, engines, generators, valves, gates, mixers, conveyors, blowers, dryers, chemical feed, sludge processing filters, belt presses and measuring/control devices, testing equipment and material handling equipment.
• Learn proper utilization of wastewater laboratory equipment.
• Use computer programs for process control.
