HDR invites an experienced leader to serve as WTEM Business Class Director, overseeing wastewater treatment and effluent management programs. You will direct technical strategies, coordinate staff across offices, and drive risk management, client relations, and project excellence in HDR’s water practice.

The role emphasizes employee ownership culture, engagement with universities, and leadership in strategic growth across HDR’s national footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration required for core service overseen.
• Experience developing and managing diverse teams.
• Works cooperatively with other HDR business class directors, operations managers and marketing managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships with related business classes and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and advisory services on projects.
• Drive QA/QC processes and coordinate with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development and application of tools, standards and techniques.
• Mentor and direct technical leaders on project delivery.
