Apex Companies seeks a Principal for the Wastewater Practice in the Northeast to lead teams of engineers and scientists, shape strategic direction, recruit and mentor staff, and drive client value across Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.

This equity-eligible role emphasizes business development, project execution, QA/QC, risk management, and cross-selling while strengthening relationships with clients and peers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of wastewater experience
• Professional engineering licensure preferred
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff and teams

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from development through completion with budgets and schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, staff, and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Mentor and develop project staff
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and cross-sell services to clients
