Job summary

Inframark is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee wastewater plant daily operations and maintenance. You will lead a team of operators, ensure compliance with SOPs, DOT and OSHA standards, and coordinate with account managers weekly on ongoing operations.

Responsibilities include site visits, coordinating maintenance, managing vehicle and equipment upkeep, budgeting, and producing monthly operation reports. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field and 5-7 years wastewater experience.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• CDL preferred; Wastewater Operator’s License (state/site) may be required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to work with basic office equipment; OSHA & DOT familiarity; SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Leads their team of operators in people management: hiring, orientation, performance, salary changes, promotions, training and development, transfers and terminations; coaching as needed.
• Ensures SOPs, DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met.
• Communicates with account managers weekly about ongoing operations.
• Conducts site visits and coordinates with maintenance on repairs.
• Manages maintenance of trucks and equipment, including capital budgeting.
• Creates and manages operational budget and monthly reports; assesses performance and drives improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
