Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Lead Operator to train and supervise Operators at our water/wastewater facility. The role focuses on daily operations, problem solving, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance while mentoring staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Water/Wastewater Operator’s License relevant to the state, has 5-7 years of experience, and preferably supervisory experience. CDL may be preferred. Join us to ensure high-quality plant performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years water/wastewater experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage operations.
• Strong understanding of SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment facilities.
• Allocates work and provides technical direction and training.
• Ensures SOPs, DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met; recommends improvements.
• Interacts with Operations Manager to ensure safety and permit compliance.
• Coordinates with contract laboratories on QA/QC and reporting.
• Communicates with clients about routine technical aspects and inquiries.
