Job summary

Veolia is hiring a WWTF Maintenance Technician in Woonsocket, RI to maintain and improve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems at the wastewater facility. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with operators to minimize process disruption.

The role requires high school diploma, 2+ years industrial maintenance, and experience with pumps, PLC/SCADA, and CMMS. Safe work practices and strong problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance or municipal utilities.
• Experience with wastewater equipment preferred.
• Industrial electrical, instrumentation, PLC/SCADA experience.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation problems.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to equipment failures, alarms, and emergencies.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and regulatory records accurately.
