Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a maintenance professional to plan and direct maintenance at the Treatment Plant, Pumping Stations, and CSO facilities. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will perform mechanical and minor electrical work, inspect facilities, and prepare work orders.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic math, welding experience, PPE proficiency, valid driver's license, and Rhode Island waste-water certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical calculations required.
• Proficiency with site PPE and safety equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and direct maintenance on pumps, engines and related equipment.
• Inspect facilities to ensure proper maintenance procedures.
• Prepare work orders and reports.
• May fabricate or weld components as needed.
• Assist with training new maintenance personnel.
