Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a WWTF Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain wastewater treatment processes at our Rhode Island facility. You will collect samples, run tests, adjust processes, and document data to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal plant performance.

The role requires a high school diploma, familiarity with SCADA/CMMS, and strong attention to safety. You will participate in emergencies and preventive maintenance, with opportunities for training and certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Experience in wastewater treatment or industrial utilities preferred.
• Ability to obtain wastewater operator certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and equipment.
• Collect samples and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Record data, meter readings, and process adjustments accurately.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and assist with maintenance.
