Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a WWTF Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems at the wastewater treatment facility. You will help ensure reliable plant operations, regulatory compliance, and a safe working environment.

On-site in Woonsocket, RI, you need a HS diploma or GED, 2+ years in industrial maintenance or wastewater utilities, experience with pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, and automated controls,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance or wastewater utilities.
• Experience maintaining wastewater or water treatment equipment.
• Industrial electrical, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, or controls experience.
• Welding, machining, fabrication, or pipefitting experience.
• Experience using a CMMS or electronic work-order system.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair wastewater treatment equipment and facility systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation problems.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Respond to equipment failures, alarms, spills, and emergencies.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and regulatory records accurately.
• Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
