Job summary

Veolia North America seeks an operator to manage day-to-day wastewater facility operations and maintenance. You will monitor systems, sample water, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires teamwork, safety focus, and the ability to work weekends and on-call shifts.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in water/wastewater and strong mechanical and data-reading skills, with proficiency in SCADA/PLC and CMMS tools. A CDL may be a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years in water or wastewater industry.
• Experience in lab or utility fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater facility O&M activities and related infrastructure.
• Perform routine PM on infrastructure, equipment, processes and systems.
• Conduct wastewater sampling and laboratory monitoring per requirements.
• Maintain proper operational and maintenance documents and records.
