Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Wastewater Facility Operator to manage day-to-day O&M of the wastewater facility, including infrastructure, equipment, and grounds. Under Project Management, you will perform routine PM, collect samples, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining detailed records.

The role requires safety-conscious teamwork, strong reading and math skills, and the ability to operate SCADA/PLC-equipped systems. On-call shifts and weekend work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in water or wastewater or related field.
• Experience in a laboratory or utility-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate wastewater facility equipment and systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities.
• Collect wastewater samples and monitor laboratory results.
• Maintain proper operation records and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and be on-call as needed.
• Work weekends/holidays on a rotating schedule.
• Assist in coordinating with contractors and project teams.
