Job summary

Veolia NA in North America seeks a Plant Technician to monitor day-to-day operations, operate equipment, and perform routine lab tests and basic maintenance.

You will collect samples, calibrate meters, document findings, and assist with repairs. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and ability to work in an operations environment.

The position is on-site with occasional training travel; a high school diploma and basic math/technical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read specifications, blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment manually and via instrumentation per procedures.
• Perform CLAIR on machines and report results.
• Collect samples and perform field tests to adjust chemical dosages.
• Perform routine lab tests and prepare reports.
• Calibrate instruments including meters and sensors.
• Learn mechanical troubleshooting and assist in repairs.
• Assist in facility maintenance and basic installations.
