Job summary

HDR seeks a WTEM Business Class Director with strong leadership to direct wastewater treatment and effluent management programs. You will coordinate with market sectors, operations, and leadership to ensure high-quality technical delivery and strategic growth across HDR’s water practice.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, professional registration, and a proven track record in managing diverse teams and complex projects across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Professional or Architecture/Engineering registration is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Experience leading diverse teams and collaborating with other leaders.
• Committed to HDR values and employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead and participate in technical risk management through process and resource reviews, providing technical advisory services on selected projects, and claims prevention and avoidance activities.
• Drive quality assurance and control processes and coordinate with the WBG Quality Manager in those areas.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Oversee assignment of qualified, experienced staff to projects including effective use of worksharing.
