Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater and effluent management capabilities across HDR’s organization, coordinating with market sectors, groups, and operations. You will drive risk management, quality assurance, and strategic staff development while advancing industry leadership and client engagement.

This role emphasizes development of standards, tools, and collaboration with university programs and professional organizations to elevate HDR’s WTEM practice and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Registration as a professional engineer or architect preferred for leadership roles.
• Experience managing diverse teams and collaborating with department directors.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead risk management through reviews, advisory services, and claims avoidance.
• Drive quality assurance and control with the Quality Manager.
• Oversee development of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Staff projects with qualified personnel and coordinate workload.
