Job summary

Travel up to 50% and a strong background in environmental rules is required, with a HS diploma plus extensive experience or a technical degree with years of practice.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant environmental experience with HS diploma or 7 years with a degree in a HESS field or engineering/advanced degree.
• Strong knowledge of current environmental rules and regulations and ability to communicate impact plans to leadership.
• Ability to review engineering designs for compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Waste Technology Strategy and Governance: lead development and execution of waste tech strategies and business plans.
• Site Performance Monitoring and Reporting: conduct audits, develop scorecards, and provide KPI updates.
• Technical Support, Optimization, and Troubleshooting: identify and advance waste management projects improving compliance and operations.
• Regulatory Compliance and Legal Support: develop compliance strategies and regulatory interpretations.
• Site Engagement, Training, and Knowledge Sharing: mentor site personnel and coordinate meetings/forums.
• Vendor, Consultant, and Technology Partner Management: manage relationships and review technical work.
• Business Development and Innovation Support: identify opportunities via industry engagement and vendor reviews.
