Job summary

You will coordinate with the Technology Manager and external licensors to identify innovations and share best practices for refinery compliance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in HESS/Engineering or related field with relevant environmental experience.
• 15 years of environmental experience with HS/GED or 7 years with a degree; knowledge of environmental rules and ability to communicate impact to leadership for budget.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to advise on compliance strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of waste technology strategies and governance to support refinery performance.
• Monitor site performance; develop scorecards and provide KPI updates to senior management.
• Identify and advance waste management projects to improve compliance and operating performance.
• Develop regulatory compliance strategies and assist Legal with interpretations.
• Mentor site environmental staff and conduct regular training and knowledge sharing.
• Manage relationships with vendors, consultants, licensors, and equipment providers; evaluate new disposal technologies.
• Support business development opportunities through industry engagement and technology evaluation.
