The position emphasizes governance, site engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize waste handling and regulatory adherence while supporting company objectives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of current and proposed environmental rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate impact plans to local leadership for budget development.
• Ability to review engineering designs to ensure compliance with environmental rules and regulations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of facilities and relationships with environmental rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of waste technology strategies and governance.
• Monitor site performance, prepare scorecards and KPI updates for management.
• Identify and advance waste management projects improving compliance and operating performance.
• Develop regulatory analysis and compliance strategy to assist Legal with interpretations.
• Mentor site environmental professionals with tools and training; lead knowledge sharing.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology partners; review technical work products.
