Job summary

LRS is the industry leader in waste and recycling solutions, seeking an Outside Sales Executive to drive new business in the Kokomo, IN area. You will identify leads, prospect, build relationships with key decision makers, and close profitable contracts in commercial and industrial waste services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in direct sales in a customer-facing role.
• Proven history of exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Experience prospecting, identifying, and addressing customer needs.
• Good understanding of the commercial waste and recycling industry.
• Strategic selling experience with complex accounts with multiple decision makers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM platform and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong work ethic, self-directed and results oriented.
• A passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed monthly targeted revenue goals.
• Identify viable leads and manage prospects to acquire new, profitable business.
• Mine new potential business using market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Manage prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing.
• Develop proposals and conduct presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of LRS solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce to schedule and document all activities and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers.
• Complete required Customer Service Agreements, CRM entries, reports, and other administrative work in a timely manner.
• Build relationships and increase LRS visibility through participation in trade shows and chamber of commerce events.
