Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I to safely perform essential waste processing tasks at our Indianapolis facility. You will off-load inbound trucks, perform QA/QC on waste streams, sample materials, and operate shredding and solidification processes with forklifts and mobile equipment.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of experience, the ability to pass respirator fit tests, and proficiency with NetSuite and MS Office.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in a related role.
Able to pass respirator fit test.
Able to utilize NetSuite.
Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and time management.
Operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Off-load inbound trucks, waste stream QA/QC, and verify container count and manifest data.
Container sampling and recognizing non-conforming material.
Process material through shredding operations and load into solidification pit, LDI, etc.
Operate facility equipment including pressure washers and power tools per policy.
Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
Complete facility paperwork for regulatory and safety records.
General cleaning of the facility and grounds.
