Job summary

Reworld in the United States is hiring a Waste Processing Technician I to support safe, efficient waste processing operations. You will operate forklifts, load and unload materials, sample waste streams, and help maintain equipment and housekeeping in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED preferred (Reworld offers GED Works).
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving like environment
• Forklift experience preferred
• Able to pass respirator fit test
• Ability to utilize NetSuite
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate attention to detail and time management
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or per vendor specs
• General housekeeping and area maintenance
• Preventative Maintenance paperwork for equipment
• Loading/Unloading of van trailers and/or flat beds
• Managing collection points within the facility
• Demonstrate alignment with Reworld values and safety culture
• Interact with plant personnel to determine local needs
