Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Waste Process Technician I in Gary, IN. The role focuses on safe off-loading, QA/QC of waste streams, material verification, sampling, and processing through shredding and loading into pits, with basic mechanical understanding of processing equipment.

The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operation of forklifts and cranes, and proficiency with MS Office and NetSuite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks and other power tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Off-load inbound trucks and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• QA/QC on waste streams with material verification.
• Sample waste streams and identify non-conforming material.
• Complete facility paperwork and regulatory records.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
