Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I in Ohio to safely off-load inbound trucks, verify container counts, and process materials through shredding operations and a solidification pit. You will use basic equipment and document inventory with scanners, supporting compliant waste processing.

This entry-level role requires a mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to operate forklifts and power tools in a safe, OSHA-compliant environment while contributing to the company’s

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Possess 8-hour DOT Certification Training (Or ability to complete).
• Possess 10-hour OSHA Training (Or ability to complete).
• Possess 8-hour HAZWOPER Training (Or ability to complete).
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and time management.
• Must be computer proficient and able to operate with Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and conduct daily activities to support all safety and compliance requirements.
• Operate a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, and other power tools in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements.
• Administratively process inbound material / inventory using inventory tracking software and handheld scanners.
• Able to off load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• De-pack materials from original manufacturers packaging and sorting contents for disposal according to disposal plan.
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
• Other duties as assigned.
