Job summary

Reworld (Waste Processing) is hiring a Waste Process Technician I to safely perform essential tasks in waste handling. You will off-load inbound trucks, verify containers, process material through shredding operations and assign inventory data for tracking.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical understanding and are ready to work with hand tools, forklifts, and standard safety equipment while maintaining compliance with company policies and OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• DOT Certification Training (8-hour) or ability to complete.
• OSHA 10-hour Training (or ability to complete).
• HAZWOPER 8-hour Training (or ability to complete).
• Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance.
• Operate equipment such as pressure washers, power tools, forklifts per policy and OSHA rules.
• Process inbound material using inventory tracking software and handheld scanners.
• Off-load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• De-pack materials from packaging and sort for disposal per plan.
• Perform general cleaning of facility and grounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
