Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I for 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm) to safely perform core waste processing tasks. You will off-load inbound trucks, sample waste streams, and operate shredding and loading processes with basic mechanical understanding of equipment.

This entry-level role requires the ability to operate forklifts and cranes, pass a respirator test, and use NetSuite, with a focus on safety, QA/QC, and timely paperwork completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• 1+ year of experience.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Ability to utilize NetSuite.
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and time management.
• Must be able to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Consistently perform safely in various weather conditions and work environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance.
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, forklifts per policies and OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries.
• Off-load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment.
• QA/QC and lab analysis for waste and material receipts/shipping.
• Complete and submit facility paperwork (receiving, piece count, manifest review).
• General cleaning of facility and grounds.
